Taming Statistics on the Mac

Welcome to TamStat Mac! With this document we want to provide some instructions for the (simple) installation. A more evolved installer for the Mac is currently in development, but at the moment you have to go through these steps manually.

• Extract the file TamStat-Mac-v*.tgz into a temporary folder. Looks like you've done that already, since you are reading this file which was contained in the ZIP-Archive. Well done!
• Please download "Dyalog APL" Version 19.0. It's a free download, no registration required! Get it from https://www.dyalog.com/download-zone.htm and then install it.
• Move the TamStat-Folder into to its future destination (your home-directory or the desktop) - no specific path required, as long as you can read/write files in that path. (Please avoid using blanks when naming the folder!)
• Open the TamStat-folder and double-click "tamstat" to launch TamStat!
